LifeLink crews in Henties Bay were called this morning by some young boys who found another boy, a known epileptic patient, unconscious in the water in a sewage trench near the Chicken farm. Crews rapidly responded, stablised and transported the child to the State clinic in Henties where the very motivated nursing staff took charge in providing excellent care for the child.
The childs life was saved by the actions of the young people passing by who took the time to be involved and make that one phone call. Well done.
